Carnival Firenze Adds Adults-Only SEA Cruises From Long Beach
Carnival says the invitation-based SEA program adds expanded casino access and events, plus themed parties, bingo and upgraded dining for guests twenty-one and older.
Carnival Cruise Line has put four adults-only SEA voyages on Carnival Firenze into a previously canceled autumn 2026 schedule from Long Beach, California, replacing 11 regular cruises with Mexico sailings of seven, 11 and 14 nights. The departures, now listed through Carnival's website for the Sailings Exclusively for Adults program, are scheduled for Oct. 12, Oct. 19, Nov. 2 and Nov. 13.
Carnival had canceled the ship's sailings during the period and attributed the decision to redeployment work affecting Carnival Firenze's itinerary plans.
Four Mexico itineraries fill the canceled window
The 14-night itinerary visits Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, Manzanillo and Ensenada, while the 11-night sailing calls at Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada.
The remaining two voyages are seven-night cruises calling at Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada. Bookings close May 15, 2026.
When the regular cruises were canceled, affected guests were offered either comparable replacement sailings with onboard credit or full refunds. Guests who rebooked by March 26 were eligible for an additional $50 onboard credit.
SEA cruises remain invitation based
SEA Cruises, launched in 2025, are adult-only, casino-focused sailings offered by invitation. Carnival describes the product as including expanded casino access, additional casino events, themed parties, bingo, upgraded dining and other onboard programming.
The Firenze sailings are reserved for guests 21 and older. Carnival has not disclosed pricing details or the exact method used to distribute invitations, though the offers are handled through guests' Carnival accounts.
Carnival plans 22 SEA cruises in 2026, with departures from Miami, Port Canaveral, Singapore and Long Beach across ships including Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream, Carnival Glory and Carnival Firenze.
Firenze heads east after Long Beach
Carnival Firenze is a 2021-built, 135,156-gt former Costa Cruises ship that entered Carnival service from Long Beach in April 2024. Carnival lists the vessel at 4,126 guests at double occupancy and 1,425 crew.
After returning to its regular Long Beach program, Carnival Firenze is scheduled to reposition to the East Coast in early 2027 via South America before a spring Caribbean season from Miami. Carnival then plans to move the ship to New York for summer 2027, where it is scheduled to take over Carnival Venezia's itineraries.
