Azamara Opens Bookings for 195-Night 2029 World Cruise
The ship is scheduled to spend sixty-five percent of the journey in port, with sixteen overnight stays and sixty late departures across the itinerary.
Azamara Cruises opened bookings on September 24, 2026, for a 195-night 2029 World Cruise aboard the 702-guest Azamara Quest. The voyage departs San Diego on January 3, 2029, and ends in Copenhagen on July 17.
For the first time, the line is offering three durations within its world cruise program, with 179- and 139-night options to follow the full-length sailing. The complete itinerary covers 126 ports across five continents and 40 countries and territories, including 12 maiden calls, with no repeated ports.
Azamara says the full voyage will be the longest world cruise available in 2029 and offer more time in destinations than other world cruises that year. The ship will spend 65 percent of the journey in port, with 16 overnight stays and 60 late departures.
Limited-time loyalty discounts will apply to all three options. The promotional window runs for the first 80 days of bookings for the full voyage and the first 60 days for each shorter journey. The booking announcement did not specify starting fares or discount amounts.
From the South Pacific to Northern Europe
Leaving California, the ship will head to Hawaii before continuing through French Polynesia, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Norfolk Island. The Oceania portion comprises 11 ports in New Zealand and 12 in Australia, with Australian stops including Hobart, Darwin and Exmouth, the gateway to Ningaloo Reef.
The Asian route takes in Indonesia and Singapore, followed by further Southeast Asian calls before Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Japan accounts for nine ports on the itinerary, including Hiroshima.
After Japan, the ship will visit Alaska, including Hubbard Glacier, before sailing south through British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest. The route then continues through Central America and the Panama Canal to Colombia and Florida, followed by New York.
The Atlantic crossing leads to Ireland, the United Kingdom and France before the ship finishes in Northern Europe. The last 16 nights take in 12 countries.
Two International Date Line crossings are scheduled: westbound on January 30 and eastbound on May 7. Passengers will skip a calendar day on the first crossing and experience one twice on the second.
What full-voyage guests get, and what opens next
The full journey includes 15 complimentary AzAmazing Evenings, Azamara’s cultural events built around a port of call, which can feature local performances and traditions. The program also lists events reserved for World Cruise guests and selected Overland Experiences.
Bookings for the two shorter journeys will open on October 14, 2026. Travelers seeking shorter portions of the itinerary will be able to book 16 individual segments, ranging from seven to 20 nights, when those sailings go on sale in 2027.
