Astoria’s 2026 Cruise Season Nears Close With Serenade Visit
The fall schedule had been due to start with Brilliant Lady on September 12, but the Port of Astoria said that visit, expected to bring about 2,700 passengers, was canceled.
Royal Caribbean’s 90,090-GT Serenade of the Seas is scheduled to reach Astoria, Oregon, at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, carrying more than 2,000 passengers on the port’s penultimate cruise call of 2026. Departure is set for 6 p.m. that day.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s 167,725-GT Norwegian Joy will close the season on Saturday, Oct. 3, with about 4,200 passengers expected aboard. That call is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Cruise ships berth at Pier 1 on Astoria’s Columbia River waterfront. Passengers requiring accessibility-related pickup or drop-off arrangements can contact Port Terminal Services at 503-741-3300 before their ship arrives.

Astoria’s 2027 schedule lists 13 cruise ships, with two more pending. Brilliant Lady is booked to visit on May 8.
The next season will begin on Sunday, March 21, 2027, with Europa. Its opening call is scheduled for 8 a.m., with departure at 6 p.m.
