Victory II Opens Green Bay’s Expanded 2026 Cruise Season

Passengers were scheduled for excursions to the National Railroad Museum, Green Bay Botanical Garden and Lambeau Field before Victory II’s planned June 10 departure.

Victory Cruise Lines’ Victory II opened Green Bay’s 2026 cruise season Tuesday, June 9, docking at Leicht Park around 7 a.m. for the first of six scheduled calls. Green Bay expects the season’s cruise visits to bring 785 passengers and generate $327,000 in direct local economic impact.

The six-call schedule triples Green Bay’s downtown cruise activity from two calls in 2025. Regionally, Cruise the Great Lakes projects more than $310 million in economic impact from cruising in 2026, about 30% above last year.

Six-call season starts with Victory II

Passengers on Victory II were scheduled for excursions to the National Railroad Museum, Green Bay Botanical Garden and Lambeau Field, with some passengers also headed north to Door County. The ship is one of Victory Cruise Lines’ two vessels used on Great Lakes and related North American itineraries.

The call tied cruise spending to local shops, restaurants, transportation providers, tour operators and other small businesses. Victory II was scheduled to leave around 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 10.

“This is a landmark year for cruise ships here in Green Bay,” said Brad Toll, president and CEO of Discover Green Bay. “We’re thrilled to welcome back Victory Cruise Lines and their passengers, as well as American Cruise Lines’ newly built American Patriot later this season.”

Great Lakes projections point to broader regional growth

Cruise the Great Lakes expects seven cruise lines to operate 10 ships in the region this year, carrying nearly 25,000 people. Across 150 itineraries, the program projects nearly 900 Great Lakes port visits and close to 180,000 passenger visits, with each count higher than in 2025.

Leicht Park access and later arrivals

During weekday construction at Leicht Park, vehicle access is limited to emergency traffic. Public viewing is available from the Fox River’s east bank, including along the Fox River Trail.

American Patriot is scheduled to make its first Green Bay call June 29 after departing Milwaukee on June 24. Additional calls by the ship are listed for July 6, Aug. 6 and Aug. 13.
