Victory Cruise Lines Adds 2027 Cruises From Jacksonville
Victory I’s March 31 departure will be the first Victory sailing with cuisine developed by James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein.
Victory Cruise Lines will add three 11-day roundtrip cruises from Jacksonville in 2027, with Victory I and Victory II operating an itinerary linking Southern cities, coastal Florida and Freeport, Bahamas. The departures are scheduled for the spring and fall.
“Our guests know and love Victory on the Great Lakes, and now we’re giving them a whole new coast to discover,” said John Waggoner, founder and chairman of Victory Cruise Lines.
Three departures on a shared itinerary
Victory I will operate the first cruise from March 31 to April 10. Victory II will follow with an October 28 to November 7 sailing, before Victory I returns for the final departure from November 7 to 17.
Each voyage will leave Jacksonville for Savannah and Charleston, then continue to Port Royal and Beaufort. The ships will turn south for West Palm Beach before making an international call at Freeport. After returning to Jacksonville, the itinerary includes a final excursion to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach.
Victory’s full fleet assigned to the program
The New Albany, Indiana-based company, founded in 2016, operates only Victory I and Victory II. The line describes both as 190-guest ships.
Waggoner also pointed to the service and dining offered aboard the small ships. “It’s a beautiful trip with great cities, fascinating history and a lot of variety along the way,” he said.
The March 31 departure will be the first Victory sailing to feature cuisine developed by Michelle Bernstein, the line’s culinary curator and chef partner. The James Beard Award-winning chef has created menus and dining experiences based on regional flavors and local food traditions.
