Victory Adds 2027 Canada and New England Voyages From Halifax

Victory says 2026 bookings are up 23 percent from the same point in 2025, and both 190-guest sister ships are set for 2026 enhancements.

Victory Cruise Lines has added 2027 Canada/New England voyages led by new roundtrips from Halifax, expanding its Atlantic Canada and Canadian Maritimes program alongside its Great Lakes sailings. The April-through-November season will operate aboard Victory I and Victory II, the line’s 190-guest sister ships.

John Waggoner, founder and chairman of Victory Cruise Lines, said 2026 bookings are up 23% from the same point in 2025, with 2027 sales also running ahead of expectations.

“We’re focused on identifying new itineraries beyond the Great Lakes for our repeat guests who are seeking fresh experiences,” Waggoner said.

Halifax roundtrips lead the 2027 additions

The new “Atlantic Canada & Nova Scotia Discovery” itinerary will operate as two Halifax roundtrips, sailing April 11-21 and April 23-May 3, 2027. The program includes Atlantic Canada fishing communities, coastal passages, French-Canadian culture, local cuisine, history-focused shore excursions and regional traditions.

The deployment gives Halifax turnaround sailings at the Seaport.

Stephen Burnett, executive director of the Great Lakes Cruise Association, called the Halifax roundtrip “a superb addition” to Victory’s route portfolio.

Coastal routes connect the South, New England and the Great Lakes

Victory also scheduled “New England, French Canada & Great Lakes Exploration” from Portland, Maine, to Toronto from April 22 to May 4, 2027. The itinerary includes the Saguenay Fjord, Quebec City, Montreal, Charlottetown and Sydney, with programming that includes whale watching, fjord cruising, historic districts, culinary experiences and Great Lakes attractions.

The “Atlantic Coast & New England Passage” will sail April 9-24 from Jacksonville, Florida, to Halifax. The route follows the eastern seaboard through Charleston, Savannah, Newport and Portland before continuing into Atlantic Canada.

What the fare covers

The company said fares include a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, ground transfers, one shore excursion in every port, unlimited beverages including an open bar, Wi-Fi, onboard enrichment and entertainment programming. The itinerary announcement did not list starting fares.

Before the expanded 2027 program, both ships are scheduled for a $5 million enhancement program during their 2026 layup.
