Tauck Adds Wellness Programming to 2027 Seine Cruises

Tauck plans five Wellness Departures across a wider selection of itineraries in 2028, with preliminary river-cruise bookings opening later this month.

Tauck will introduce wellness programming on two 2027 departures of its 10-day “Rendezvous on the Seine” itinerary through Paris and Normandy. The July 28 and October 11 departures will sail aboard the 124-guest Serene, with fitness entrepreneur and wellness coach Nikki Polos hosting both journeys.

The additional activities will be entirely optional, alongside the itinerary’s existing sightseeing, cultural experiences and exclusive access. Tauck also plans to expand the concept to five Wellness Departures across a wider selection of itineraries in 2028.

Starting fares are $7,490 per person for the summer departure and $9,190 for the autumn departure, based on double occupancy and excluding airfare. Both are open for booking, and Tauck’s 2027 river cruises are fully inclusive.

Fitness, nutrition and mindfulness programming

Polos, founder of the fitness and coaching platform Workout Worthy, will lead programming organized around three themes: Move, Savor and Restore. Move covers physical activity; Savor examines nutrition and the relationship between food and well-being; and Restore addresses mindfulness, recovery and relaxation. Potential activities include guided exercise and movement sessions, mindfulness practices, wellness discussions, and sessions devoted to nutrition and healthy habits.

The programming will begin before the cruise and continue during the trip, with resources available for guests to use after returning home. Tauck has not yet detailed a session-by-session schedule. Its announcement did not include a statement from a named executive.

Serene’s onboard facilities include The Retreat on the upper Diamond Deck, with a river-view fitness center, a massage treatment room and a lounge. The ship also has a swimming pool, bar and outdoor relaxation areas on its Sun Deck.

Paris hotel stay and a seven-night Seine cruise

The round-trip Paris itinerary combines two hotel nights in the French capital with seven nights cruising the Seine through Normandy. Its core visits include Versailles, Rouen, the D-Day beaches and Giverny, along with a private château experience. The route can vary by departure, with some sailings incorporating destinations such as Honfleur, Étretat or Bayeux.

Tauck plans to open preliminary bookings for its 2028 river cruises later this month. Details of that year’s wellness itineraries and departures will be announced later.
