Silversea Opens 2026 Alaska and Arctic Seasons With 51 Voyages

Silver Whisper and Silver Moon sail between Vancouver and Seward, while Silver Endeavour and Silver Wind cover fifty-five Arctic destinations across four countries.

Silversea opened its 2026 Alaska and Arctic seasons in mid-May, with the first Alaska guests sailing on May 14 and the Arctic program beginning May 15. The 2026 northern deployment totals 51 voyages across four ships, split between 30 Alaska sailings and 21 Arctic sailings.

The program puts part of Silversea’s 12-ship fleet into two separate high-latitude products: Alaska voyages between Vancouver and Seward, and Arctic itineraries reaching as far as 80 degrees north. For 2027, the line is planning 36 Alaska voyages and 19 Arctic voyages, increasing Alaska capacity while slightly reducing the Arctic count from 2026.

“Whether navigating Alaska’s glacier-lined waterways to lesser-known destinations like Pine Island or witnessing the Arctic’s diverse wildlife alongside Silversea’s expert expedition team, guests can expect true discovery at every turn,” said Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea.

Four ships split Alaska and Arctic programs

Silver Whisper and Silver Moon operate Silversea’s 2026 Alaska season, visiting 13 destinations between Vancouver and Seward. Silver Moon carries 596 passengers, Silver Whisper 392.

The 220-passenger Silver Endeavour and 274-passenger Silver Wind operate the Arctic program across 21 voyages, covering four countries and 55 destinations in remote northern waters.

Silversea did not list starting fares for the named 2027 sailings. The announcement also did not include new port agreements, charter commitments or changes to onboard product tied to the Alaska and Arctic season openings.

2027 schedule includes Alaska corridor and High Arctic examples

For 2027, Silversea named two Alaska examples aboard Silver Moon. A June 3-10 sailing from Seward (Anchorage) to Vancouver is scheduled to transit the Inside Passage with calls including Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway.

A second Alaska example, sailing Aug. 19-26 from Vancouver to Seward (Anchorage), includes Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Sitka. That itinerary also includes glacier viewing in areas such as Hubbard Glacier and Tracy Arm.

The 2027 Arctic examples are both aboard Silver Endeavour on Longyearbyen-to-Reykjavik itineraries. The July 19-31 sailing is scheduled to operate in the High Arctic, with Svalbard wildlife viewing and a crossing toward Greenland’s east coast.

A longer Aug. 11-28 Silver Endeavour voyage follows with additional time in Svalbard and an extended Greenland program focused on fjords and remote communities.
