Silversea Groups 17 Suite Types Into Four Categories for 2027
Bookings under the revised names open September 16, 2026, with Villa benefits including chef-selected in-suite dinners and Champagne-and-caviar stargazing.
Silversea will consolidate 17 suite types into four categories and add priority services and private consultations for guests in its highest tiers on voyages departing from Jan. 1, 2027. Accommodations will be classified as Oceanview, Veranda, Residence or Villa. Bookings under the revised category names are scheduled to open Sept. 16, 2026.
How the 17 suites will be grouped
Oceanview will comprise Panorama and Vista suites, which have large windows but no private balconies. The Veranda tier will include Premium Veranda, Deluxe Veranda, Superior Veranda, Classic Veranda and Veranda suites, each with a private balcony.
Residence will cover Junior Grand, Signature, Silver, Premium Medallion and Medallion suites. These accommodations have separate living and sleeping areas.
Silversea’s largest accommodations will form the Villa category: Otium, Master, Owner’s, Grand and Royal suites. They offer larger living spaces and private terraces.
Butler service, in-suite dining around the clock, Wi-Fi, beverages, multiple dining venues, port charges, taxes and gratuities will remain included across all four categories. Oceanview and Veranda guests will not receive the additional priority benefits attached to Residence and Villa bookings.
What Residence and Villa guests get
Residence guests will receive priority embarkation on Classic voyages. They will also be able to reserve spa treatments 210 days before departure and make dining reservations 150 days before sailing.
“Whether that’s with early access to spa and dining reservations or dedicated time with the ship’s head sommelier, we’re strengthening the personalized service that has always defined Silversea,” said Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea.
Villa guests will receive the Residence benefits as well as earlier access to their suites and a personal welcome escort. Silversea will provide private transfers on qualifying Classic voyages when airfare is booked through the line.
The Villa package will include individual meetings with the ship’s chef, head sommelier and spa manager. Villa guests can also arrange chef-selected dinners served in the suite, afternoon tea, Champagne-and-caviar stargazing, private cocktail events and cigar-and-whiskey pairings.
Each Villa will also have a Technogym exercise package containing a yoga mat, resistance bands and a roller. Silversea’s destination specialists will provide priority assistance with flights, hotels, shore excursions and land programs.
The changes cover Silversea’s 12-ship Classic and expedition fleet. At selected debarkation ports, Villa guests completing Classic voyages will be able to stay aboard longer on the final day, with continued access to restaurants, drinks, public areas and Wi-Fi until the next departure.
Villa benefits on expedition sailings will include greater choice of Zodiac departure groups, priority access to one kayaking session and behind-the-scenes access to expedition operations.
