SeaDream II Adds 24 Mediterranean Voyages for Summer 2028

SeaDream’s shift underscores how luxury travelers are favoring smaller-ship Mediterranean sailings built around longer port stays and marquee coastal destinations.

SeaDream Yacht Club will reposition SeaDream II from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean for summer 2028, adding 24 voyages between May and October across 12 countries and more than 70 ports. The season aboard the 4,333-GT, 112-guest yacht responds to what the line described as strong demand for its Mediterranean program.

The deployment gives SeaDream a full Mediterranean season on SeaDream II and expands several areas of emphasis for the line, including the Amalfi Coast, Croatia’s Dalmatian coast and repeated Corinth Canal transits.

“We continue to listen to our guests, and their desire for Mediterranean yachting is clear,” Andreas Brynestad of SeaDream Yacht Club said. “They want more time in port, more intimate destinations, and the freedom to explore at their own pace.”

SeaDream II is scheduled to transit the Corinth Canal seven times during the season. SeaDream said more voyages than ever before in its program will visit the Amalfi Coast, which the line described as one of its most requested destinations.

The 2028 season will also introduce one 11-night and one 10-night voyage combining Greece, Sicily and the Amalfi Coast. The longer itineraries can be paired back-to-back for guests seeking an extended Mediterranean sailing.

Croatia’s Dalmatian coast will have a larger role than in previous SeaDream seasons, with Dubrovnik, Hvar, Korčula, Rovinj and Zadar included across the schedule. Venice will also feature prominently, and the line will bring back its Venice-Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik-Athens itineraries.

Overnight calls are planned in Kotor, Hvar, Mykonos, Capri, Amalfi and Sorrento. Other announced features include a night cruise past Stromboli Volcano and visits to Delphi and Delos.

SeaDream operates two yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II.

“Building on our 25 years of yachting experience, we have selected the destinations we love, the ports we cannot miss, and the anchorages our guests keep coming back to,” Brynestad said.

The announcement did not list individual sailing dates or starting fares for the 24 voyages. The first departures are slated for May 2028, following SeaDream II’s transfer from Northern Europe.
