Regent Seven Seas Cruises has named Wesley D. Silva as its next president, with the leadership change set to take effect March 2, 2026. The luxury cruise line is part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.

Silva most recently served as Regent’s chief commercial officer, and the company said the appointment aligns with a broader strategy to elevate its ultra-luxury offerings. In a LinkedIn post, Silva said he was “incredibly energized and optimistic about what lies ahead,” adding that his focus will be on building on Regent’s existing foundation and continuing to raise the standard in ultra-luxury travel.

Silva’s appointment comes alongside a new global leadership structure spanning Regent and sister brand Oceania Cruises, aimed at aligning commercial and sales teams across regions and sharpening support for travel advisors as demand grows in the luxury and ultra-luxury segments.

Under the updated structure, Silva will report to Jason Montague, who will continue as chief luxury officer overseeing both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Montague said the reorganization is designed to deepen the brands’ focus on the trade.

“This strengthened leadership structure positions us to accelerate our strategic plans to take both brands to new heights and support our Travel Advisor community with even greater focus,” Montague said.

Silva highlights travel partners and guests in first comments

In his LinkedIn post, Silva credited colleagues who supported his progression, and also thanked Regent’s guests and travel partners, describing them as an extension of the company. “It is their partnership and belief in our vision that continues to propel us forward,” he said.

Chief sales officer appointments and reporting lines

As part of the new framework, the company has appointed two chief sales officers to oversee global sales performance, travel advisor engagement, and commercial development across markets. Nathan Hickman has been named chief sales officer for Oceania Cruises, and Shawn Tubman has been named chief sales officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Hickman will report to Montague, while Tubman will report to Silva. The structure also places both North American domestic sales teams and international sales teams under the reporting lines of the two chief sales officers to support global commercial alignment while maintaining brand-specific oversight.

Regional and North America sales leadership

Several regional sales leaders are set to report into the chief sales officer structure across both brands, and additional North America sales and trade marketing leaders were also named within each organization.

  • Paul Beale: vice president, UK and Ireland sales
  • Gabriella Fonzo: senior director of sales, Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa
  • Lisa Pile: vice president of sales and general manager, APAC
  • Frank Medina: vice president, LATAM and Brazil sales
  • Brennan Quesnele: senior vice president, North America sales and trade marketing (Oceania Cruises), reporting to Hickman
  • Jerod Evans: vice president, North America sales (Regent Seven Seas Cruises), reporting to Tubman
  • Melaine Diaz: vice president, sales strategy and trade marketing (Regent Seven Seas Cruises), reporting to Tubman

Steve Odel to move into ambassador role

Regent and Oceania also said Steve Odel, described as a longtime senior commercial leader, will transition to an ambassador role supporting both brands as the changes take effect.

Silva’s tenure at Regent and background

Silva joined Regent in 2010, when the line operated under Prestige Cruise Holdings. The company said his experience spans finance, revenue management, and commercial strategy, including roles that connected Regent operations with the broader Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings organization.

He moved into Regent revenue management in 2016, and his responsibilities expanded through senior commercial leadership positions leading up to his most recent role as chief commercial officer. Silva graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

The leadership changes are scheduled to take effect March 2, 2026, when Silva moves into the president role and the sales and commercial teams transition to the new reporting structure.
