Kevin Fehling Joins Europa for Seven 2027 Cruises

Fehling first worked aboard Europa as a ship’s cook about 25 years ago; ashore, his Hamburg restaurant The Table retained its three Michelin stars for an 11th time in June 2026.

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will feature three-Michelin-starred chef Kevin Fehling aboard Europa on seven selected cruises in 2027. Fehling will welcome passengers at his onboard restaurant, The Globe, during selected dates on those voyages.

The programme continues a seven-year partnership between the chef and the ship. Dining at The Globe is included in the fare.

Lisa Wilken, head of luxury cruises at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, said gourmet dining was central to the Europa experience and emphasised the opportunity for guests to meet Fehling personally.

The chef’s connection to the vessel began roughly 25 years ago, when he worked aboard as a ship’s cook. Ashore, he runs The Table in Hamburg’s HafenCity, which retained its three Michelin stars for the 11th time in June 2026.

At The Globe, Fehling draws on his travels and experience at sea to shape a contemporary fine-dining menu. The dishes combine international ingredients with regional food traditions, and the kitchen puts weight on detailed presentation and modern cooking techniques.

Photographs from the chef’s journeys carry the travel theme into the dining room, which has planet-like lamps and a dark, starry ceiling. Guests receive a personal welcome letter introducing Fehling’s approach to cooking and the travel experiences behind it.

An early-booking discount will apply to specified cruises departing between May and September 2027. The deadline to book under the offer is October 31, 2026.
