Grand Voyages Cruise Docuseries Premieres on Prime Video
The finale follows Riverside Ravel along France’s Rhône and Saône rivers after episodes aboard Uniworld’s La Venezia and Holland America Line’s Rotterdam.
Grand Voyages, a new cruise travel documentary series from Media Sparks Entertainment, began streaming on Amazon Prime Video on Aug. 1, 2026. The three-episode first season is available in the United States and United Kingdom.
The series combines destination coverage with below-deck access across ocean and river cruises. Future episodes will extend the format to yacht and expedition voyages.
Media Sparks, a Los Angeles-based producer of scripted and unscripted film, television and digital content, developed the program with co-creators and producers Stacey Parks and Jennifer Scully.
“We wanted to innovate on the traditional cruise travel series to give viewers an immersive experience,” Parks said.
Three itineraries anchor the first season
The opening episode, “Slow Traveling Venice,” follows a sailing aboard Uniworld’s La Venezia.
The second installment, “Norwegian Fjords,” shifts to Holland America Line’s Rotterdam for a voyage through Norway. It is the first season’s ocean-cruise episode.
“Riverside Ravel,” the season finale, returns the series to river cruising aboard the vessel of the same name. The itinerary travels along France’s Rhône and Saône rivers.
Season two enters production
Media Sparks has begun work on a second season. One episode is set to follow Windstar Legend through Portugal, Spain and France, while another will feature Roald Amundsen in Alaska’s Inside Passage.
The second season is scheduled to debut in the fourth quarter of 2026. An exact premiere date has not been announced.
