Four Cruise Ships Set for Southampton’s Busiest Day of the Weekend
Hanseatic Nature, a German luxury cruise ship, is scheduled to arrive in Southampton at eleven in the morning Sunday and depart at seven in the evening.
Seven cruise ships are scheduled to visit Southampton from Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4, bringing thousands of passengers to the city. Saturday will be the busiest day, with four vessels expected in port.
Southampton handles approximately 3 million cruise passenger movements annually across five terminals.
Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas, MSC Virtuosa and P&O Cruises’ Ventura are due to arrive on the morning of Saturday, October 3, and depart later that day. Iona completes Saturday’s lineup, but its arrival and departure times have not yet been confirmed.
The weekend schedule begins with P&O Cruises’ Britannia and Arcadia on Friday. Both ships are due to depart that afternoon.
Hanseatic Nature is scheduled to arrive at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 4. The German luxury cruise ship is due to leave Southampton at 7 p.m.
