Carnival Expands New Dining Menus to Six More Ships in 2026

Carnival Cruise Line is extending its new main dining room menus to six additional ships in October and November 2026, according to Brand Ambassador John Heald. The next introduction is scheduled for Carnival Paradise’s Nov. 5 sailing, following three ships that began serving the menus in October.

The revised selection, introduced earlier this year, is already available aboard 18 vessels in Carnival’s 29-ship fleet. Main dining room meals are included in the cruise fare.

Carnival Elation and Carnival Valor introduced the menus on Oct. 17. Carnival Horizon followed on its Oct. 18 departure from PortMiami.

After Paradise, Carnival Freedom is scheduled to introduce the selection on Nov. 7, followed by Carnival Legend on its Nov. 19 cruise.

“Personally, I love the new dinner menus,” Heald said. While acknowledging that food preferences vary, he described the selection as “brilliantly received and tremendously enjoyed by so many.”

Heald declined to disclose Carnival’s per-person, per-day food budget. He praised the culinary team’s ability to offer a broad range of meals for thousands of guests within that allowance.

Carnival’s main dining room offering includes rotating appetizers, entrees and desserts, with dishes from Emeril Lagasse and the line’s culinary team. The line also offers a dedicated vegan menu, with options including baked vegetable au gratin and eggplant cutlet parmigiana alongside vegan poke. Menus can differ by vessel, itinerary and sailing date.

Guests may order a second entree without an additional charge; a third carries a US$5 fee. Steakhouse selections offered in the main dining room are priced separately.

Carnival Firenze and Carnival Radiance are also due to receive the new menus at later dates. Heald confirmed plans to extend the selection to the Australia-based ships, though the timing is still being decided.
