Bhaya Soul Becomes SLH’s First Asia-Pacific Luxury Boat

Bhaya Cruises is promoting combined wellness itineraries pairing a voyage through the bays with a stay at Namia River Retreat on the Thu Bon River.

Bhaya Cruises’ 20-suite Bhaya Soul has joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), becoming the collection’s first luxury boat offering in Asia-Pacific. The new vessel operates wellness-focused cruises through Vietnam’s Halong and Lan Ha bays.

The membership connects the vessel to SLH’s marketing and reservations network, which includes more than 700 independently owned boutique properties across over 100 countries. Bhaya Soul is already bookable through the SLH website.

Bhaya Cruises describes the vessel as Halong Bay’s first wellness-inclusive cruise. Its program combines restorative activities, time in nature and meals prepared with fresh local ingredients, and carries wellness beyond the spa facilities into the overall stay. The operator says itineraries favor less-crowded areas of the two bays.

Nam Tran, CEO and founder of Bhaya Cruises, said he wanted to create “a place where guests can experience the beauty of the bay while also having the space to slow down, reconnect and restore.”

The 61.5-meter vessel accommodates up to 40 guests and carries 35 crew. Suites range from approximately 30 to 80 square meters, depending on category, and each has a private balcony with sun loungers. Bay-view bathtubs and a heated pool are among the onboard facilities.

The SLH membership also links Bhaya Cruises with Namia River Retreat, another member property in Hoi An. Bhaya Cruises is promoting combined wellness itineraries that pair a voyage on the bays with a stay along the Thu Bon River.
