Atlas Ocean Voyages Picks Seaware to Unify Booking Operations
Atlas Adventurer is planned for 400 guests in 200 suites, with an inaugural season spanning Asia and Africa and a 128-night Grand Odyssey from Kobe to Cape Town.
Atlas Ocean Voyages has selected Versonix’s Seaware platform to combine reservations, inventory, guest profiles and voyage operations as the cruise line prepares to add Atlas Adventurer in November 2028. The system will also support the line’s travel-advisor distribution.
Atlas consolidates booking and operations
Seaware includes individual and group booking management, pricing and discounting, customer relationship management, loyalty functions, analytics and revenue management. Its distribution capabilities cover business-to-business and consumer sales, call centers and online travel agencies, while its packaging tools support cruises, expeditions, air, hotels, land programs, shore excursions and other add-ons.
“As Atlas Ocean Voyages grows, Seaware gives us the scalable platform to support our expanding fleet, streamline operations and continue delivering the highly personalized journeys our guests expect,” Atlas President and Chief Executive Officer James Rodriguez said.
Versonix Chief Operating Officer Yuri Polissky said the company would support Atlas with “a technology platform designed to scale alongside their business.”
Atlas did not announce a go-live date for Seaware or disclose financial terms for the agreement.
Atlas Adventurer program takes shape
The 690-foot, 26,000-gross-ton Atlas Adventurer is designed for 400 guests, with 200 suites and approximately 275 crew members. Its inaugural season will run through April 2029, with voyages of eight to 128 nights in Asia and Africa.
Four longer Extraordinary Expeditions are included in the schedule. Three will operate for 40 to 45 nights between Bangkok and Singapore, Bali and Mombasa, and Cape Town and Athens. The program’s guest benefits include an air credit of up to $4,500 per person, a one-night pre-expedition hotel stay, private arrival and departure transfers, laundry service, unlimited Wi-Fi and an exclusive shoreside experience.
Guests on the longest itinerary will receive three exclusive shoreside experiences. That 128-night Grand Odyssey is scheduled to depart Kobe for Cape Town on Nov. 30, 2028.
