Adora Flora City to Debut Family-Themed Cabins in 2026

Families booking the themed cabins can join a bridge visit with senior officers and a behind-the-scenes tour, while children receive Captain Adora gifts after the voyage.

Adora Cruises will introduce family-themed cabins aboard Adora Flora City, a sister to Adora Magic City, which entered service in 2024. The new ship, under construction at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, is scheduled for delivery on November 6, 2026. The line announced the offering on September 28, and cruise bookings are already open.

The cabins pair themed decor with exclusive family activities, including a bridge visit where children can meet senior officers and learn about sailing. Guests booking the cabins will also have access to a behind-the-scenes tour.

The cabins will have personalized signs on their doors and themed exterior decorations. Captain Adora, the line’s “Chief Happiness Navigator” character, will appear in uniform when young guests board and lead them through a nautical-themed experience.

Benefits for families staying in the cabins also include access to specialty restaurants and the Adora Sea Market. Children will receive a Captain Adora plush toy, a card holder and a toiletry set after the voyage.

Beyond the cabins, the ship’s family programming will teach children about flowers from different parts of the world. Families can make their own flower-themed calendars in a workshop drawing on the cultural tradition of the twelve-monthly flowers.

The onboard children’s club will run a Lion Cub Camp program combining music and crafts, with an African drum rhythm workshop, lion hand puppets and lion-head craft sessions. Face painting and a lion cub parade are also planned.

Plans call for Adora Flora City to sail from Guangzhou Nansha to destinations including Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
