Carnival’s expanded zero-proof and bundled add-ons show how cruise lines are rethinking onboard spending around wellness-minded guests, aiming to lock in more pre-cruise purchases with simpler pricing.

Carnival Cruise Line is preparing to extend its Cheers! Zero Proof beverage package into 2026 sailings, expanding the alcohol-free option beyond its initial rollout window, according to Brand Ambassador John Heald.

Heald said in a video update that guests have repeatedly asked whether the package would be offered on next year’s itineraries. “Cheers! Zero Proof is so popular. Every day I’m asked when it is going to be available for 2026,” he said.

The update is one of two notable changes Carnival has outlined for 2026 guests, alongside two All-In-One value packages that bundle drink options with WiFi and pre-cruise discounts.

Cheers! Zero Proof is expected to be sold for 2026 sailings

Cheers! Zero Proof debuted in September 2023 as a non-alcoholic alternative to soda-only plans, and Carnival initially offered it on cruises departing through Dec. 31, 2025. Heald said the cruise line now plans to carry the package into 2026.

Heald said he spoke with Carnival’s Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations about timing. “They are meeting about it at the moment and it will be available for 2026,” he said, adding that sales for 2026 should open soon and guests will be notified when it becomes available.

What the alcohol-free package includes, and how it is priced

Carnival positions Cheers! Zero Proof as a premium, alcohol-free bundle that goes beyond soda. The package applies for the full length of the sailing and is intended for individual use while onboard, and it does not extend to purchases in ports of call.

Items Carnival lists as part of Cheers! Zero Proof include Coca-Cola-branded sodas, juices, bottled water, premium teas and coffees, mocktails and other zero-proof cocktails, frozen zero-proof drinks, smoothies, bottled protein shakes, energy drinks, and alcohol-free beer and wine (including sparkling wine).

Carnival currently lists Cheers! Zero Proof at $29.99 per guest, per day. The package is available to guests of any age, though Carnival notes that some zero-proof items, including alcohol-free beer and wine and certain mocktails, may be limited to guests age 21 and older.

How Cheers! Zero Proof compares with Bottomless Bubbles

Carnival also sells Bottomless Bubbles, a separate plan focused on soda. Cheers! Zero Proof is positioned as the broader non-alcoholic option by adding items such as specialty coffees and teas, smoothies, alcohol-free beer and wine, and other packaged beverages not typically included in soda-only plans.

As with Carnival’s other drink packages, Cheers! Zero Proof is sold on a per-day basis and runs across the entire cruise rather than being purchased for a single day.

Two All-In-One packages expand bundled options for 2026 departures

Separately, Carnival has outlined two All-In-One value packages for 2026 sailings: Essentials Value and Ultimate Value. The packages must be booked online and are available to purchase through Dec. 31, 2025, for cruises departing from Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2026.

Carnival previously scheduled the offer to end on Dec. 19, 2025, before extending the booking window through the end of the year.

  • Essentials Value Package ($50 per person, per day): Includes the Cheers! Zero Proof beverage package and the Value WiFi Plan, plus a $50 discount on shore excursions and a $25 discount on specialty dining when reservations are made prior to the cruise.
  • Ultimate Value Package ($90 per person, per day): Includes the Cheers! beverage package for alcohol-inclusive drinks and the Premium WiFi Plan, plus $50 off shore excursions and $25 off specialty dining when booked pre-cruise, and 50% off spa treatments and photo packages when booked before sailing.

For both options, Carnival describes the shore excursion discount and specialty dining discount as one-time-use benefits when booked prior to the cruise.

Stateroom rules, age eligibility, refunds, and booking deadlines

Carnival’s terms require consistent package selection within a stateroom. Qualifying guests sharing a cabin must purchase the same All-In-One package, and the two options cannot be mixed after purchase.

The packages are fully refundable if canceled before the cruise, but any unused benefits are non-refundable.

  • Essentials Value Package eligibility: Carnival requires all eligible guests age 3 and older in the stateroom to purchase, and guests age 2 and under are not eligible.
  • Ultimate Value Package eligibility: Carnival requires all eligible guests age 21 and older in the stateroom to purchase, and guests age 20 and under are not eligible.

Carnival also sets deadlines for certain pre-cruise benefits tied to the packages. Spa purchases must be made at least three days before sailing, while dining and shore excursion discounts must be used by midnight the day before embarkation.

With Cheers! Zero Proof expected to open for 2026 bookings soon, Carnival guests planning 2026 departures will have both a standalone alcohol-free package option and bundled All-In-One package choices available within the extended booking window through Dec. 31, 2025.
