Royal Caribbean plans a new port in Juneau, Alaska, to ease downtown congestion after residents rejected cruise restrictions. Set to open in 2027, the port will handle increased cruise traffic while implementing passenger caps to address overtourism concerns, although local reactions remain mixed.
